So this area which is easily accessible is basically a strip of land that runs out into the lake and terminates at a small lighthouse on the point. Out here you will find the old bathing areas that are set up for mixed sexes and...More

We spent an afternoon here. Was busy but managed to find a sunbathing spot. You have to pay to enter. Would visit again.

During our early-morning exploration of Geneva we stumbled upon Bains des Paquis. We spotted someone waling onto the "jetty" and followed. It provided us with an excellent view of the city and an insight into local recreation. I lack the wherewithal to swim in such...More

What a fabulous thing to find in a city, and all set out with changing facilities, restaurants and a diving board, as well as safe areas to swim. Totally unexpected and great fun.

What a great experience! It feels like a bathing place of the 1920's, and it's filled with hip people from Geneva. Locals told me to go try this place with my kids. What fun! Don't think I ever swam in water cleaner than this. So...More

For the "beach", it's Fr.2 per adult, for the hammam/sauna, it's Fr.10 per adult. There is no entrance fee for the restaurant (self service).

Take bus number 6, 8, 9 or 25 to stop 'Mont-Blanc'. Walk east along the lake. After about 500 meters you will see the jetty on which 'les Bains des Paquis' are located.
