Staying in Geneva for a short break this place came highly recommended. Very different to the other glossy parts of Geneva I had seen. The deal was cheese fondue served to your table which is a long bench which holds about ten people so you share with other groups. It has a great communal atmosphere with pans of fondue coming... Place to not be missed in Geneva! Winter or summer time there is always something to be done there. Summer time enjoy the swimming. There are festivities like early morning music happening in summer. Winter time enjoy the great fondue in the evening. Any sunny day go there for a lunch even in a winter. The food proposed is great,... More

Well... after (many, many...) years visiting the Bains des Paquis maybe it's time to give them a short review. It used to be sort of a hidden place, but since it is in all guides and papers the crowd there sometimes just reach excessive proportions. The baths are popular in summer with people taking advantage of the lake but on... More

We love this area of the lake because you can enjoy the sun, take a bath and have some drinks listening to music on a very fun and informal atmosphere. At the winter, I recommend the delicious foundue with reasonable price (make a reservation).

You want service? Forget it! You pay at a counter, cash, no cards accepted. Fresh, great oysters, dried meat, fondue, wine. This is a Geneva institution and a cult place. Go without expectations other than to eat a good fondue and you'll love it. If you are a snob, stay away.

A must see part of town. Lucky for us we stayed close by and we visited every day. The area feels quirky and welcoming. Take a walk along the pier and try out the fitness equipment too. The naked bathers jumping into the crystal clear lake is great fun to watch an a Geneva institution. We loved the cafe for... More

Nice place to come and have a quick cheap meal. Around 15 sFr. Which is quite reasonable for Geneva's high level prices. Then you can go for swim of just have a chat by the lake. Better during Summer though.

Situated on the lake, this venue has a beach, you can swim in the lake and you can eat simple but very good food.

It's a bit of an odd one: you order at a counter (no cards accepted, so bring cash!) and then you sit at long tables and have your food. Fondue in our case, and it was amazing! One of the best ones I've had! because it's on the pier, you have lake view, and in summer you can swim here... More
