We enjoyed this museum which is full of old trains, boats etc has many things to play on or try out. I especially enjoyed the Air Teaffic control game. We were disappointed not fully covered by our Swiss Pass but still worth it's money

Located about 3km outside the city. It's a nice walk along the lake when the weather is good or a quick bus ride. It has an IMAX theatre attached so a great place to entertain the kids. If you really want to spend the whole...More

Absolutely great outing for the family. We regretted not having studied the options properly before getting there - starts with the Railways and we spent a lot of time there. Only to realise that the Aircraft section (with simulators) came later. Spend a couple of...More

The Swiss Transport Museum is just a must for everyone, although quite expensive ... maybe one takes an entrycard without the 3d-cinema what makes it little more affordable.

If you're interested in technology, flight, trains, outer space and a little bit of Swiss transport history then this is definitely the place to go. Well organized, clean and efficient.

If the weather is not good enough for going up a mountain, (or if you just prefer an excellent technical museum), then this is the place to be. They have fantastic displays of trains, cars, aircraft, space-flight and telecoms. Something for all ages.

It is all here - ships, planes, trains and automobiles. The three year old was entranced and in fact we all became small children. Very well laid out and almost impossible to take it in just in one day but we tried arriving at 11...More

As wife of a trainspotter and overall gearhead, I've been lugged around to MANY of these museums. The price of admission alone is 30CHF each, BUT it was worth every Franc. This was the BEST of all of the transport museums I've been to. Tons...More
