The journey to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe, at 3454 metres Europe’s highest altitude railway station, is the highlight of every visit to Switzerland. It offers visitors a high-Alpine wonderworld of ice, snow and rock, which can be marvelled at from vantage terraces, the Aletsch Glacier or in the Ice Palace. On clear days, views extend as far as the Vosges mountains in France and Germany’s Black Forest.

Dear traveller, the trip to Jungfraujoch is one of the most beautiful trips of one's life. The view are spectacular on the way to the Top of Europe and on the way back, where you can choose other route. The way up you can take train from Interlaken Ost to Kleine Scheidegg stopping at Lauterbrunen, on the way back you... More

The Jugfraujoch is a very pretty train ride to the top of the Swiss Alps. It is hard to breathe at this altutude but worth the trip. You can travel up to the top via Grindelwald and return via Wengen, or vice versa, giving you a great experience of the alps. Trains run every half hour.

It's simple: 190 chf to go up by train from Interlaken to enjoy views is a bit expensive. The Aiguille du Midi in Chamonix offers the same experience for 60€. The views are amazing but for that money you still expect something more out of it.

Very disappointed with the trip and value for money. Bought two tickets, one being for my mothers 86 birthday. She is in a wheelchair for most of the time as she cannot walk much further than 25 metres. There was nothing that was disabled friendly. The height of the station in relation to the train entrance was far to low... More

What an amazing trip!!! At first we thought it was expensive for just a train ride up a mountain but how wrong we were. The train ride itself was breathtaking. We travelled from Bern to the jungfraujoch and the scenery was beautiful. Chocolate box houses and stunning views of the mountains. The actual final train up the mountain was a... More

We traveled from Brienz to Jungfraujoch and back in the one day. We waited until the morning of our trip to look at the weather before committing. It is a long day but worth it if the weather is right. We have a Eurail pass which enabled the trip from Brienz to Interlaken Ost as part of the pass and... More

Jungfraujach is the base to the Sphinx Observatory which is what people think of when wanting to experience "Top of Europe" The train trip from Interlaken or Grindelwald gets you to Kleine Scheidegg where you change to the steeper cog railway up to the top, about 20 minutes of which is within the mountain with no views. This last leg... More

Spent a few days in Zurich in April 2017. Took a day trip to the Jungfraujoch. Was amazing. Very scenic. Lots of stops. Lots of places to take pictures. Word of caution. Air is VERY thin. Take your time walking. No running. Definitely worth the money.

I guess this one isone of the best tours you can possibly take in Switzerland. The ticket is not the cheapest one (200chf) but if you have a SwissPass you get 50% discount. The train ride is 2h30m long, not boring at all! The view is breathtaking, you change train a couple times, but no big deal. Enjoy the amazing... More

Although very expensive,(£170 in April 2017) this is an experience not to be missed. The views all the way up are breathtaking. Tickets can be obtained from both Interlaken railway stations or from the information office in the town You can go two routes up the mountain either vis Lauterbrunnen or Grinderwald, both ending up at Kleine Scheidegg where the...
