So we are ardent fans of "Sherlock", and we chanced upon this town and museum. It has a replica of the room just as it would have been in the book. It would be a treat for ANY Sherlock fan!

I do not know - but it is Switzerland and they allow their dogs into restaurants, trains and many other places not possible in my country. Good luck.

Yes, there is a train from Interlaken which goes to Meiringen. The ride is about 30 minutes.
