This is a must do in Murren if you are in reasonable shape. It is very intense. We had done a via Ferrara before in Banff; but opted for a guide. I highly recommend a guide as this is a very intense and difficult experience....More

Not too difficult but a lot of fun. This usually takes 3 hours. I would suggest a guide or at least rent Fia Ferrata clips, helmet and harness at nearby sports stores.

This was a terrific way to spend a few hours up close with the mountain. There are several nerve-wracking sections literally hanging on the side of the mountain, but realize that the majority of the time is not like that (but it is always very...More

Unbelievable experience for me. I though that I had little fear of heights, but yes it was a little nerve wracking at a couple of points. Won't forget it as long as I live

Grateful for this free attraction. We brought our own equipment. The views were spectacular. I wish we had these in the US.

Really unbelievable. Be prepared for some thrilling terrain and heights. We hired a guide in Murren and he was awesome. Not for the faint of heart!

The short story is that I recommend this without hesitation, as long as you are reasonably fit and do not have a severe fear of heights. The longer story is as follows. Firstly, I would highly recommend going with a guide. Our guide Dave, an...More

Looks like you were given the link. Dave is very flexible especially with weather conditions. You may want to plan an alternative day in case your first choice doesn't work.
