Stopped off at the monument on a recent cycling trip through Altdorf. The statue dominates the town square and is worth a few minutes of your time. The legend of William Tell is well documented throughout the town so definitely worth a stop.
Just nice way to tie a place to a story you heard as a child.
Although the environment is not extraordinary taking a pic with Wilhelm Tell makes it worth a visit. And at the stores you can go buy some swiss memorabilia!
Well worth a short stop off as this giant impressive Bronze statue of the Swiss hero is impressive. The village itself is again worth some exploration and offers several decent shops and eating places.
