I came on Rick Steves recommendation and was glad I did, its worth the visit, as you do see art in a different form. The artists are from societies fringe with unfortunate childhood stories, criminal backgrounds, mental health challenges. Their artwork benefited both them and...More

I really liked the museum, I found the stories interesting and the artwork moving. However my companion did not like it at all: he found most not very pretty and did not feel like reading the descriptions.

It's a crazy place. Litteraly and figuratively. Artists with psychic disabilities from all around the world and from different times. You have to go there. Then again, beware, it takes a lot of time, it's bigger than it seems and there's a lot of content....More

Experience different thinking and view art from a different lens and angle. Be open and tolerant !! This place is possibly unique in Europe, do not miss it and confront yourself to a different thinking and art pattern.
