This famed street remains the heart of Lausanne with its iconic stores and unfortunate brand related mechs, you will still find Bon Genie, Chez Mario's pizzeria and the exquisite 19th century urban passage. The market on Saturday is nothing less than wonderful.

Lovely architecture - nice to take a walk but remember to wear comfortable shoes and that we are in Switzerland ... the hills can be steep !

The area has some lovely shops to see and some interesting restaurants, however everything is closed on Sunday! The area is not as glamorous as near by Geneva but it is definitely worth a visit when in Lausanne.
