While it is impressive to see so many luxury stores in one single location, other than shopping and some restaurants, this street doens't have too much to offer... Personally, I've always viewed this street as a place of transit rather than a tourism attraction. Regardless, any visit to Zurich without walking on the Bahnhofstrasse would be incomplete. In December, the... More

Zurich is an expensive city and Bahnhofstrasse is up there with the best of the best of London, Paris and New York. Enjoy the experience of the most expensive clothes and jewelry - dream a little and if you are so inclined then splash out and spoil yourself.

It sounds more exotic in German than in English, but this is the place to see and be seen strolling on Saturdays. At one end lies a major international train hub and at the other, the harbour from which ferries cruise the scenic lake. Beyond the quays, on a clear day, lie the majestic snow-covered mountains of Eastern Switzerland. Bahnhofstrasse... More

This street leading from the main station down to the lake is at its most beautiful on a sunny and warm day in Summer when all the trees are leafy and you can sit outside and watch the world go by. There are a multitude of shops along the way, but they are expensive, some way out of the normal... More

It's like the Champs-Élysées of Zurich or the Madison Avenue of New York. Long shopping street containing the most upscale stores retail has to offer. Highly recommend even if you just like to window shop.

I like to shop, but this street mainly consists of the luxury end of the clothing market (dior, fendi, tods etc) and jewellery (cartier etc) ... you could be anywhere in the world, so unless you are desperate for a new handbag just enjoy the window shopping
