We went to Joyce's grave - Fluntern Cemetery - early morning last week. No one was there and the autumn mist made the cemetery even more atmospheric. Worth a visit if you're a Joyce fan. He's buried next to Elias Canetti

Arrived in Zurich on a wet evening and drove straight to the cemetery it's open until 8 in September. The whole cemetery is interesting and after seeing James Joyce's we had a wander around. Toilets were closed.

James Joyce was always a favorite of mine in my youth, and I had no idea he was buried here. Amazing experience.

A beautiful well-kept cemetary, respectful to the memory of James Joyce. Everytime i have been there, others have been as well. Clearly a pilgrimage site.
