You need to come and take a photo of this leaning tower and maybe climb up to the top for a view. At the end of a big square with lots of cultural institutions around.

I don't know why but I was very excited to see this building. Maybe because it leans more than the Pisa and I found that exciting. There is also a nice place to sit and take pictures. I didn't go inside but the outside is...More

Our family of 6 was pleased to see the leaning tower of Leeuwarden, so to speak. Amazing structure! Our host, in Surhuizum (city close to many popular cities to visit), said Leeuwarden was a beautiful place, and he was right! We also did cheese tasting...More

Must do in Leeuwarden. oversees the central square. The staff at the tower are super friendly and make an effort to tell you about the tower and its history. The walk up is via a narrow, winding set of stairs (like all towers). The view...More

The entire town of Leeuwarden was clean, friendly and visually appealing. Very easy to navigate, we explored this old building with ease. How interesting to see it leaning, and explore it’s high top.

If you travel to Leeuwarden start your visit at the Oldehove. You get fantastic views and first impressions of the town. Additionally the tower's history is quite interesting. If it is your first visit on the roof, take a map with you to orientate the...More

This leaning tower is a must-do in Leeuwarden. It´s so freaky to see how it leans. It´s not that expensive (for students it´s even 1 euro less) and after you climbed the 120 stairs (the winding staircase was pretty scary if you ask me) you...More

From the outside it looks interesting because it leans. Inside there is not much to see, but climb to the top for the views of the city and feel the lean

It's well worth climbing the Oldehove to the top. You have a great view of the city, the Prinsentuin (park), bridges, etc. And do you know that Leeuwarden is the Cultural capital of Europe in 2018??!! Go visit. Lots to do this whole year.
