We visited from Canada and this park was on my to do list. The zoos in Canada are nothing like this. Loved seeing the animals running around loose, if they choose to interact with humans they can, but the humans have to stay on the walkways. Beautiful grounds with a number of places to sit and watch. At the front... More

A very nice nature parc to visit with friends or family. Placed in a beautiful Dutch forest. But also a very good location for business events!

A park in the middle of the Veluwe. It's surrounded by heath and woodlands. Parking is very easy and even the walkway to the park is an attraction. As to quote from their website: In the sixties, Wim Mager, a photographer from Rotterdam, had two tamarins. At the time it was legal to buy monkeys at a pet shop. What... More

An easy-going monkey-zoo, because several animals are allowed to walk, sit, jump, climb and swing close to visitors. One shouldn’t try to pet them by the way: they look friendly but could bite your hand. There are many species, young and old. It’s nice to be able to see the animals in their day-to-day life from so close and spot... More

This was a pleasant experience. You see lots of exhibits and very informative. Plan for 3 or more hours to get a good idea of the exhibits and grounds. There is a lot of walking, but a map is provide. Lots of monkeys to see. Some are roaming around the area, so it is nice to see that. I recommend... More

A good day out for young and old. Lots of different kind of apes in a pretty good, natural environment. The large primates e.g. gorillas, Orangutangs and Bonobos live in colonies at a safe, but observable distance; in parts the smaller deaths-head monkeys run free amongst the visitors. It get's pretty crowded during the main school vacations - especially if... More

If you really want to see a lot of the apes -and other animals - you need at least 3 hours. We went there on a working day. So it was rather calm. All the visitors behaved nicely. No shouting,no feeding the animals, etc. You can really see a lot of different apes and you have all the time doing so.... More

It was many years ago the last time I was here, so now coming back was almost coming to a new Park, what an amazing well maintained/ organized and green Park this is. Besides the fact it just great fun seeing the monkeys jumping around freely, there is a lot of educational stuff going on, either with the signs or... More
