The 260 steps in a fairly narrow stairs might not be for everyone. But, if you're up to the challenge, once at the top you will be rewarded with a beautiful, clear view of this cute city :-)

If you visite Groningen and you want to have the best view of the city, Martinitoren is what you need to visite. Costs only 3 Euro and you have a 360° view of the whole city. Follow TheStyrianTraveller on Instagam an fb for more.

In the centre of the city the old tower. Nice to walk to the top where you have a beautiful view over the city.

It's located diagonal opposite the visitor centre (VVV). There isn't any cashier or info at the entrance. You need to pay €3pp at the VVV centre in exchange for a token to be insert into a rotating steal gate at the bottom of the tower...More

Centrally located highest tower in Groningen. The climb to the top was a bit difficult, but the photos we took from the top made it worth our while.
