Quite a long climb, but worth the effort. Breathtaking (literally) to get to the top, but breathtaking (figuratively) when you see the city :)

The steep climb up the tower is definitely worth it for the fabulous views over the city. On several days a week and for festivals the carillion is played live by a hugely talented and energetic musician offering a variety of classical music including Bach...More

A stunning tower attached to a beautiful church. Yes there is a lot of stairs as you would expect but the view of Groningen is worth it.

Right on the central square of Groningen. If possible attend an organ concert in this church. The Martini cemetery is just behind the church

The climb to the top of the tower is not the easiest but you will have a great view over the city center.

Steep 300 steps to the top. Nice sceanery across the town, but nothing special. Nice addition to attractions, but don't expect anything extraordinary.

The Martini tower stands out on the Grote Markt in Groningen. It can be climbed for marvelous city views or admired from one of the many terraces. It lights up lovely in the golden sunshine during the golden hour.
