There was an excellent Rodin exhibition on when we visited the museum and it was very good indeed. I guess that what is on is important to your impression of the museum and this was excellent ! The museum itself is ok but nothing really spectacular. Worth a visit though

We visited the Rodin exhibition at the Groninger Museum on a Sunday morning. The Museum is an important landmark of the city. Although we arrived relatively early (11 AM), there already were many visitors. During the time we were there it became even more crowded. Therefore it was difficult to get close to the sculptures and artifacts that were exhibited.... More

We visited this museum on a Sunday morning in April. It is located in beautiful and attractive buildings. Exhibitions are of high quality especially the one on Rodin.

A very good museum with friendly and helpfull staff and always interesting collections. Also the bookstore and the café are both nice. The museum is easy to reach by train.

The exhibitions were very interesting (especially the one by Marteen Baas was mind-blowing), also there are a few great ideas implemented (information centre with stuff hidden in drawers). The museum has its charm, no doubts about it. The only drawback is perhaps the price (18 EUR is pretty hefty, me thinks). The shop is pretty nice though.

I really enjoyed this museum! It had a nice range of old and new art and it was all displayed perfectly!! The Rodin is simply breath taking and such a wide range of his work. The scale of this exposition is immense. I was suprised by the Maarten Baas exhibit as it also was a large scale exhibit and I... More

I didn't expect too much of the Rodin exhibition, but it was a rainy day and I couldn't think of any better options than this exhibition. The entrance fee of 18 euros is quite high in my opinion. The Rodin exhibition shows many sculptures, most from Rodin's workplace. His methods are explained, how Rodin would come with ideas, while others... More

I went with my 12 yr old son around the museum. I think we spent about an hour and a half in there. The Rodin exhibition was very good, but very dry and pretty boring dfor my son. The exhibition on the 2nd floor by Baas was really good and we really enjoyed exploring that. Really easy to get to... More

Very good Rodin exposition, unfortunately crowded due to rainy weather on a Saturday. Also Maarten Baas very much worth checking out, especially Real Time. Conveniently located opposite main railway station.
