I really, really liked this museum. There weren't that many objects but rather stories, they were very interesting though and closely related to our modern ways of life such as health and wellbeing. That being said, there were still many things on display. Also, free...More

If you end up in Groningen, you certainly must visit the old university building in the centre. It is very well preserved and has an amazing atmosphere. Go there in a weekday so you can dive in the student vibe.

A very nice building in the heart of this wonderful students city! After having seen that, I would like to restart my studies (probably here)!

This is an agreeable specialist museum, graced by a replica of Ben Feringa's Nobel Prize Medal. The museum gives a fascinating insight into the development of the University of Groningen and the vibrant life around it.

The museum is a great way to see some history. The areas of history covered varies a lot, and the exhibition is quite small. Still a good place to go for a quick history lesson.

outside and inside: it's a "living legend"! It is an inspiring location, especially for the soon to graduate students. The surroundings are also a must see: bars and pubs and bike parkinglots!

The University museum has a small but interesting exhibition presenting works of RUG researchers. It will take less than an hour to see it all but it is definitely worth a visit and the entrance is free for all.

We were in Groningen for a meeting, and it happened that we had a get-together in a part of this museum, the Medical History Museum. We were allowed to experience the museum while there, and found it very interesting! There was a new exhibit on...More
