To put it simply, the pies alone steal the show with their sheer sizes and golden crusted magnificence! Once you get hold of a slice you can't help but admire its perfection before making your mind up about finally taking a bite. P.s. There's even a functional mill! P.p.s. Outbeats all other local bakeries!

We were recommended to try this coffee shop as part of our walking tour of Masstricht (English instructions and route from Tourist Info ). We had to divert off the printed route to find it - but what a treasure. It is an actual working mill (waterpower rather than windpower) with a bakery, museum, shop and coffee shop attached. We... A really nice place to visit in Maastricht. Make it a part of a walk through the older part of Maasttricht. The sound of sparkling water and the turning of the wheel is really nice. A place to stop and linger your gaze and feast your ears. In its kind he oldest working mill in The Netherlands. Pay a visit... More

A bit hard to find and an attraction which does'nt consume a lot of time, but certainly worth a visit. See the baking proces of their freshly baked bread and pies and enjoy the romantic view of the water mill. Don't forget to buy a Limburgse vlaai! We chose the pie stuffed with all sorts of red fruits. Delicious!

So impressed. Believe we would only have found this great place with our German friends. Magnificent. Recommended.

A lovely restaurant in the front and a laid back laden in ancient times with a lovely water mill at the exterior of the back in powering the bakery. Aromatic freshly baked bread and pies. Tuck at the corner of a tiny lane.

Nice corner to make pictures. It is not easy to find it: where there is the entrance of the the Bisschopsmolen, instead to enter the café on the right, take the exit strategy and you find it.

Lovely place, great to have a seat next to a window by the Waterville. Good coffee and friendly service.

We had been walking along a self guided walk and came across De Bisschopsmolen near the old water mill. They have an incredible selection of fruit tart made with spelt we had coffees and piece of tart each but the also have cafe style food so you can certainly have lunch there too. All I can say is that our... More
