This recent Jewel Cruise that I enjoyed in Amsterdam was just as fun as the one I took three years ago. But the Angus steak entree was a dissapointment. It was tough and chewy with a lot of grizzle. People that pay this much for...More

We chose this dinner cruise on the strength of other trip advisor reports and were not disappointed. The boat is beautiful and the captain is wonderful. The food was excellent (he stops at a restaurant to pick up the entrees and then returns later for...More

We chose Jewel as it appeared to be the best dinner cruise you could take in Amsterdam. The positives include a nice welcome from the captain and staff who escort you to a table which is in fairly close proximity to other guests unless there...More

This Dinner cruise ended our trip to Amsterdam which my husband booked to celebrate my 65th birthday. I cannot praise this enough, there is only a small number of tables, and the host and the captain were very friendly and polite always making sure that...More

The cruise was lovely and the boat was very beautiful. Service was great but the food could have been so much better. So, go for the cruise, not the food, and try to get a table right next to the captain - he is nice...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

Dinner only.
Hello! It says the dress is "Smart Casual", we really didn't plan to bring slacks on the trip. Are jeans out of line? We don't want to be disrespectable, we'll do whatever we need to, but just wondered if we could get away comfortably with jeans. Thanks so much!!

Jeans should be fine. Its not a high class restaurant but rather a dinning experience that is elevated by everyone dressing nicely. I believe i wore jeans/shorts and a tshirt
Is wine included in the price of the dinner cruise?

Drinks aren't included unless you buy the celebration package that includes a glass of champagne. There is a good selection of wines and spirits though.
