Good sportsbar

Great wee bar to watch football and other sports. Great staff, reasonable costing drinks and you can drink or smoke so suits most crowds.

Nice bar with friendly staff. The bar allows you to smoke weed here also. Decent prices for the drink. Good music and nice atmosphere. They also had sports showing on the screen if you wanted somewhere to watch a game.

We ended up in big shots several times when we were in Amsterdam for a long weekend. The staff are all really friendly, seats are comfy and the music is good. There are quite a few TVs which are good quality playing a variety of different sports. Think we stayed in big shots for about 6 hours at one point.... More

Just spent a few days in amsterdam... we came across this place by chance as we were staying nearby. Staff are all lovely and really looked after us... we went in a few times during our trip and the staff were always friendly and remembered our order. Drinks reasonably price, really big selection, you can smoke your own weed at... More

First and foremost Amsterdam has some great bars which have a lot more Kudos and buzz around them. Make no bones about it this bar is of a more old school 90's Amsterdam vibe, you can smoke weed and their beer and spirits are reasonably priced but above all else the staff are so friendly, always welcoming and pleased to... My friends desperately wanted to watch the F1 Grand Prix so we stepped into this Sports Bar. They have multiple TV's in the right hand bar (there are two distinct establishments under the same name). They do allow smoking which we didn't know but it just adds to the ambience so our group was OK with it. The owner was... More

Great hang out spot to smoke, it's not a coffee shop but they do allow you to smoke. The food is affordable and good also the drinks are good. Only bar that we were actually able to watch American sports and during football season this was a major plus.

So glad when I found this place I was sick of eating toasties and nachos in coffeeshops I needed somewhere that did proper food and you can smoke, this is the place! Sat for many hours smoking our own weed that we had built up from Coffeeshops and eating some decent food and to top it off they do a... More

Staying in Red Light District (De Wallen)

Neighbourhood Profile
Red Light District (De Wallen)
To visit Amsterdam and not explore De Wallen (the Dutch name for this area) or to go only to gawk at its saucier aspects would mean missing the opportunity to view some of the city’s most picturesque canals, historic landmarks, and impeccably presented examples of traditional local architecture – not to mention Amsterdam’s own Chinatown, Europe’s largest Buddhist temple and more local treasures. Sure, there are some less salubrious activities drawing the curious to this age-old part of time. Nevertheless, the Red Light District is still a very safe and incredibly fascinating area where at the turn of a corner you can be transported from the dingy glow of modern day neon red to a glorious 16th century Delft blue dreamscape.
