Enchanting canals, boutique stores, gourmet restaurants and cool bars fill this neighborhood. This was the first time that I had visited Haarlemmerstraat and it's definitely a 'keeper'. The Vesper Bar was incredible. You've got to go there and get the signature drink. We stumbled on...More

I love spending my time in this area. Good vibe, cafes, vintages and beautiful old building. One of my favorite places in Netherlands so far. Not far from Amsterdam and you can find cheaper accommodation here

Wandered up after visiting the market. What a thriving area with a great vibe. Great variety of shops and " coffee" shops. Funky clothes etc and closer to home than I thought.

If you want to be treated badly by arrogant staff then you have found the perfect place! If on the other hand you want a pleasant experience go somewhere else, anywhere else

This great street plus Haarlemmerdijk, just off Central Station has an amazing variety of shops. Try great sandwiches at Iberico, healthy organic foods at Marqt, Vinnies and Stach or Vietnamese. For shopping love the Tenue de Nimes stores, Sukha and Ontfront for fashion.
