Huge park in middle of the city. Reminds me of Central Park in NY. Ride a bike, walk around, relax, enjoy....worth a visit.

This was a nice park to escape to without the fear of getting run over by bikers in the city. If you walk around the entire loop, you will find various yoga classes, soccer games, and rugby practices going on as well.

I have now spent two afternoons exploring this park. When I am in Amsterdam and the weather is clear, I seem to end up here. Enjoy a La Chouffe at the park restaurant and walk around people watching.

Me and my wife brought breakfast every day and ate it in the park and watched the world go by. Don't leave bags unattended!

Such a lovely open space to sit away from the business of the city and the bikes! We bought lunch from a nearby delicatessen and had a picnic in the sunshine. Walking distance to the museums too so idea stopping point

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part
of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh
Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed
museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you
need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the
Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark,
the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand
connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping

No worries about finding coffee, but the crowds could be a problem. Outside the park there are other places that might work for you.
