The park is huge and beautiful, an unmissable in amsterdam, there’s always a lot of people running or just wondering around.

If you just want to wander with no chance of really being lost, head to Vondelpark. It's just around the corner from many of the most popular museums. The Park is long and thin, so you're always near a street when you are ready to...More

While we visited in November and it was a cold and windy day, the park was still beautiful to walk through. The paths are well paved and there are plenty of beautiful views and open spaces to enjoy. The cold weather didn't stop the plethora...More

Great place to hangout in the winter with beautiful colors. Highly recommended even if it is not easy to find a place for a coffee nearby

This was a great place to visit and mingle with the locals out jogging or walking their dogs. It’s one of the best city parks I’ve been to and it’s an enjoyable walk around the large lake around which the park is based.

Our hotel was the other end of Vondelpark, and so we walked through it quite a few times, each one a different route. It is a rather narrow but very long park, with rose gardens in the middle, large ponds with plentiful bird life, and...More

Vondelpark was a beautiful walk, even in the freezing cold. Lots to see and wildlife galore. I would say that there isn’t really much to do apart from walk around - especially in the winter. I also couldn’t see a map, I’m sure there probably...More

In the winter it was not very beautiful, I enjoyed the size and extent of the park but there was not much to see and if you are pressed for time in Amsterdam you can skip it. I have seen lots of gardens and parks...More

Even in mid winter the Vondelpark is worth a visit but undoubtedly a visit in spring or summer would be very impressive. We wandered around the park in freezing cold conditions and were able to experience and observe a surprising amount of wildlife including Herons,...More

Very large park, great for cycling and running. Has a small cafe which is like an old school canteen, good for a snack or coffee but not much else. Can imagine it’s busy in the summer, large open spaces for dogs, big groups and activities

I didn't visit Volden park in april but i think it will have some tulips dispersed sporadically. If you would like to really visit tulups you should absolutely choose Keukenhof.

You can walk to vondel park from Van Gogh museum its literally a five minute walk. You can check out the street with posh shops too. Museum district next to the park is a great area safe & clean.
