This area in the oldest part of Amsterdam is known for the red neon windows that display barely-dressed prostitutes advertising their services; it's all perfectly acceptable as long as it stays inside this designated area of the city.

You can't visit Amsterdam wothout seeing the red light district. Be prepared for extreme cold if you do this tour during winter months

Any visit to the city of Amsterdam must include a trip to the red light district - there are many walking tours available if you want someone to show you around and talk you through the history and the context. I never felt unsafe here...More

Wow what a place. Almost nude women at Windows. The sex museums are interesting providing knowledge and items from song time ago til now about how sex was incorporated into history.

Seriously, does this even need reviewing!!! An incredible cultural experience. DON’T TRY AND TAKE PHOTOS!!! Tip for couples: Do a lap then get your misses to walk 12feet behind you on the next pass.... You’ll be treated completely differently.... Pornstar quality ladies... Mindblown...

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
