The boats belonging to Canal Motorboats are fine and the people who rent them out are very friendly and helpful. They are also in a great location for a walk before or after you go out on the water!

Loved hiring the boat for a couple of hours. Only problem we had, was finding the place. Not necessarily their fault, but we just couldn't locate it on google maps! Could do with renewing or cleaning the flags advertising the boat area. They were very...More

In my opinion, this is a must-do in Amsterdam - do like the locals do and get out on the canals in your self-driven boat. It's easy to drive and other boaters on the canal are very respectful so you can go at your leisure...More

Great opportunity to travel the canals all by yourself and do a nice picknick on the water. The boat was easy to handle.

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
