We rented a bike at our hotel and discovered this beautiful park closeby. Loved that we had some peace and quiet at the end of a busy day in Amsterdam. And we were able to take a picture by the I AMSTERDAM sign by ourselves...More

We took a leisurely walk in this wonderful area on a quiet Saturday afternoon. There are many walking and biking trails throughout this area. The paths are well marked and the scenery is very tranquil. It was not crowded at all.

We had nice walks in the Amsterdam Bos and the Sloterpark, but with majestic trees and great views. Perfect for getting away from the burning sun.

Big green area next to the city. Some parts really look like a forest. Would be nice to have more Horeca, we didn't see any places to grab a coffee or eat something

After catching a Uber to get to the Amsterdamse Bos we were disappointed to find that that was the bike rental was closed on a public holiday. It's still a beautiful area to visit.

I did not expect a place like the Amsterdamse Bos so close to the city center. It is a nice area to make long walks. You will not get lost because there are sufficient signs along the trails. The only (slight) drawback is the traffic...More
