Covering an area of almost 1000 hectares, the Amsterdamse Bos is one of the largest city parks in Europe. It contains 150 indigenous species of trees and over 200 species of birds. The park sits to the South of central Amsterdam and can easily be reached by bike, tram or metro from the city center.

It is an enormous walking park of various recreations, paths and lakes. you can also enjoy the pancake stands and rent a pedal or rowing boats and kayaks. It fun for a relaxed day out of routine.

Very nice place for photo opportunities, and has a nice, raised exploration/play area as well. I liked the serene atmosphere and seeing joggers pass by, and it was cool to happen upon the free geitenboerderij (goat farm) in the middle!
