We had been recommended to go, and told that its good even for non beer drinkers. It's really not, as instead of your two tiny beers, you get given a small coke which has probably been sitting there for half an hour - no other options really. My boyfriend likes beer, he thought it was okay, but that the two... More

This was a good few hours, they've done well to make it quite interesting and of course the beer drinking is good. There are a lot of fun gimmicky things like photo booths and recording your own videos which they actually let you email to yourself for free instead of making you buy them. Well worth visiting if you can... More

I hate lagers. But the H Experience is more than just malt + hops in a glass. I would even call it a family attraction. Ice cold is better than room temp😎

The way they present how to make beer is very interesting and have fun. I enjoyed very much, the ticket included 2 beers, at the end of the visit you will enjoy your beer at the roof top bar. To avoid long queue, better brought tickets in the travel agent or from the hotel.

It's a major draw with tourists but frankly - it is overrated. In most parts - it is just average with details on beer is brewed and history of Heineken. The 2 free beer that make the part of it are the saving grace. But this with hop on hop off to get 2 Euro discount on your experience.

I done a few brewery tours and I thought this was the best. The tour of the brewery itself is good, just hold your nose in the stables. The advertising section at the end was the best part for me. Therevwere loads of interactive games relating to Heineken s sponsorship of sporting events. This is what sets it apart from... More

Staying in De Pijp

Neighbourhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
