Best cheese store in Amsterdam

Lots of cheeses to try. Staff are lovely and friendly. They help you with anything you need. Great store. Will be back again. Looks like part of it was undergoing a refurb.

We went back to this shop everyday while in Amsterdam! The cheese is delicious!! So many amazing flavours and so many to sample. The staff are also so friendly which makes the whole experience even better. An added bonus they also do a great stroop waffle

We stumbled across this little place, lovely cheeses to try plenty to choose from and then buy. Very friendly staff happy to answer any questions and even pose for photos. Ended up with a few different ones to take home can't wait to get the crackers out.

Great place to go taste many flavors put into yummy cheese! They are so good, we came home with a big bag full. The other items in the store are great priced for souvenirs too. The mini cheese slicer works great for travel. Most important is to just taste the delicious cheese.

We were walking through the area around Amsterdam Centraal (train station), a truly beautiful and quaint area, when we saw cheese lining the shelves of a narrow shop building. The shop is very bright and welcoming, and inside, we were greeted by Dutch ladies in traditional dress. There were pretty souvenirs on the shelves, biscuits, mustard, etc. The highlight was... At times it may seem a little kitschy (Intro movie) but had an enjoyable hour tasting a variety of cheeses and some wine. Who knew you could make a pesto cheese!

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
