Wandering along this canal look up as this is a more residential area with the typical Amsterdam architecture. It is lined with a variety of houseboats and trees. Definitely worth a stroll. Watch out for bikes, especially around the bridges!

A walk along this canal is always nice. The architecture of the canal houses on both sides are different and worth to take pictures. Nice cafes and restaurants along this walk too.

This canal has to e one of the prettiest in Amsterdam. With plenty of action on the water, tons of bridges to cross, and the 16th and 17th century architecture to admire. Spend some time looking at the houses and how unique they are.

Its located between the Prinsengracht and the canal of Brouwersgracht which makes it to have the one of the beautiful canal view in Amsterdam. Its not so touristy and very peace and calm neighborhood for a good walking.

There is a supermarket close by however in the Saturday there is a market - we would definitely recommend. The area gets busy during the day and at night and can be noisy so if you're an early sleeper, I wouldn't suggest staying around here...More
