Neighbourhood: Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.

Just a block or so from the Noordermarkt on Saturdays
Oct 2019
We visited this after wandering around the Noordermarkt last Saturday. A lot of similar vendors with stalls selling fruit, vegetables, breads and cheese as well as new and used clothes and antiques. One vendor had nothing but buttons of all kinds.

End of the day
Sep 2019
We came across this market whilst wondering around. However it was towards the end of the day and some of the stalls were all closed or packing up. There were a few left open which we had a look at. The food stalls that were packing up did look good though.

Great market - fabulous local produce
Apr 2019 • Couples
Well worth a visit here on a Saturday. The fresh juices are fabulous and cheap. So much local produce, cheeses, breads, waffles, meats, fruits, flowers etc.
I bought a necklace from a local lady who makes her own jewellery, a bargain at 5 euros. Great food samples to try, lovely fresh local produce. Very busy bustling market.

Perfect Mix, Perfect Size
Feb 2019 • Couples
There was the most wonderful selection of food at this farmers market along with extended flea market stalls. We had some of the most beautiful fresh oysters opened for us and eaten right there at the stall, we could have bought so much more beautiful produce if we had been self catering. It all looked really great, breads, cakes, fruit and veg, cheeses and meats. Wonderful and well worth a visit

Is a nice market to people watch and see the local atmosphere. Not essential if you are on tight schedule but worth it if you have time to wander...make sure to explore area around. Market has food, flowers, clothes and everything in between. Tasty and friendly hotdog man worth a visit and lunchtime stop

A Market in the Jordan
Jun 2018 • Couples
Jordan is an old part of Amsterdam. It has 4 markets. Linden market is one of the two markets on saturday. It is a local market, almost 120 years old and located on Lindengracht. You can find all your daily needs at this market. Nothing is spectaculair.

Nice enough Market
Aug 2018 • Solo
As I was nearby I decided to stroll through Lindengracht Market, One long street full of stalls either side selling food, clothes, household goods and plenty of chesse, does get busy as you would expect with locals and tourists, come early! to avoid crowds.

Great street food
Aug 2018 • Family
This is a very cute market on Saturdays, not particularly unique but if you like wandering in markets it's a very nice one. Come early, when everything is fresh and before the crowds arrive. The best part of this market is its street food. We tried some smoked pork, stroopwaffels, empanadas and herring. Everything was fresh, cooked on the spot and delicious.

Really enjoyable as a lazy Saturday morning stroll.
