Haaaated this Christmas shop. It was dreadful. Full of tacky plastic ornaments and awful quality items. If you want nice decorations go to Belgium or Germany. The no photo rule is ridiculous!, doesn't the shop realise this would help promote their shop?!, it needs it cos I thought it was awful! So cramped and dark too, seriously don't waste your... More

Loved this place, so much to see and buy. Various themes in the shop including Delft. No cameras or video in the shop which is a shame as it had lots of things to see.

I visited this store for the first time 2 years ago, and this store alone was one of the reasons I wanted to go back to Amsterdam :-) There is so much to choose from, and so many beautiful things. Certainly not "everything for everybody", but if you like classy Christmas, kitch Christmas, colourful Christmas there is something here for... More

well are you searching for a 365 days christmas shop? well you have found it. as advertised you will find all kind of christmas decoration, not at a competitive price, but for someone going to a christmas shop in May i am sure you are not looking for the cheapest deal around, but rather to some unique pieces. you will... Tram stop: Konigsplein, lines 1, 2 & 5 So it’s the last day in Amsterdam, time for souvenir shopping. Wandering through the floating flower market in April a large santa loomed into view announcing the presence of a Christmas shop complete with tree & tinkly music. Right, time to add to the treasure trove of memories which is the Christmas... More

My favorite thing to collect as I travel is Christmas Ornaments so that as I pull out all of my decorations every year, I can relive my travels. The Christmas Palace was a great find with many different options for ornaments. I picked up quite a few little decorations to take home from my trip to Amsterdam, and I would... More

Visited twice once pre Christmasand again in the summer. It's surprising all major shopping cities don't do the same. It truly is a Christmas shop even in the summer. Nick nacks are available throughout the store at truly all prices to suit each pocket. The staff were very friendly and were able to provide advice in very good English.

I love Christmas and like to buy something Christmasy when I am on a city break to remind me of my holiday. I bought a lovely Sinterklaas ( or, of you know David Sedaris, the former Bishop of Turkey). I really love it.
