If you are in Amsterdam you need to visit this place. We went in tulip season and they had all sorts of wonderful tulips and amazing hippiastrums. The tulip history is interesting. Factor about an hour or a little longer for this place. The shop/museum...More

We went there with too high expectations I guess. We kinda expected more .. In the end, everything we saw was in the written form, nothing interactive or really memorable. There are 6 sections where you can read about the history of the tulip. If...More

We stumbled across the Tulip Museum while wandering in Jordaan. The Museum takes you through the history of the tulip and how it came to the Netherlands. It was quite interesting, especially learning about the Tulip Bubble of 1637 when people sold land, houses and...More

The place where it is possible to learn everything about tulips. It is located next to the cheese museum. There are several exhibitions rooms here. It is possible to buy tulip bulbs.

This is across the canal from the Anne Frank Museum, so we stopped in afterwards. It is mainly a shop and the small tulip museum is in the rear. Upon a quick peek inside we chose not to pay to go into the museum section....More

I felt that most of the information in the museum was both in the introductory video as well as in the rest of the museum, so I walked around the rest of it very quickly

Very nice small shop which has a little museum inside for only 5 Euro entrance. Inside a museum beside an interesting video is nothing to offer to the visitors. I would not visit it again. I was disappointed.

After visiting Keukenof, we really wanted to try to bring some bulbs back home. We came here because it was one of the few places that had certified bulbs for US and Canada. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the process for us. The...More

My dad and I visited after we had already visited a bulb farm and we learned things we didn’t already know. We also got some great advice for growing our amaryllis.

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
