We went to this place on a rainy day and was surprised to learn a lot about tulips here, where else? :) The atmosphere was very relaxing, the video about tulips was very informative and you'll be surprised to know about tulips.

We stumbled across it after visiting Anne Frank’s house and entry was covered with the i Amsterdam card. It’s not big and you could look round in half an hour (if that), but it’s well designed and much more interesting than I expected. The shop...More

Small little museum and nice gift shop in front. Easy to take a look in at all the tulips or pay a few Euros to go in the Museum. We spent about 30 minutes in the museum. I was interested in about half of what...More

A very small museum on the iAmsterdam card. It talks about the history of tulips and has a lovely little gift shop.

Small museum, the downstairs museum part is as big as what you see of the upstairs gift shop. And near the entry on the same floor is just a video to watch. Looking downstairs is a map that shows were specific species of Tulips come...More

We visited this museum for free as it was included on the IAMSTERDAM card. We only stayed 20 minutes or so but it was very interesting and informative with lots of well presented interactive displays. Definitely worth a visit to understand the significance of Tulips...More

We happen to walk by the Amsterdam Tulip Museum after dinner. We spent a few hours earlier at the floating flower market. The Amsterdam Tulip Museum has MUCH more variety than we saw in any of the shops in the floating market. However their selection...More

After our visit to Anne Frank House, we walked about 160 meters across the canal to visit the Tulip Museum. The front of the museum is a retail outlet and the back and downstairs contains the museum. There is a €5 admission fee for an...More

One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and
some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two
of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll
through this especially convivial warren of narrow
streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and
quality galleries. Historically a haven for the
working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is
better known as an enclave for artists and designers.
