The mill looks very beautiful from Haarlem canals. We took the guided tour inside the museum which was informative explaining many mills aspects and telling the story of this nice place. And also the views from top of mill are fantastic, especially on a bright day.

Definitely worth a quick walk from Haarlem Market Square. The tour is pretty interesting and our guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about showing us how the Windmill works. Our tour was about a half hour, well worth the 3.5 euros it cost.

We haven't entered the windmill/museum. We saw it from the other side of the canal and really were stunned to see a beautiful typical windmill. We took tons of pictures. It's an easy and beautiful barely 5mn walk along the canal from the train station, and the city center.

The tour of the wind mill was interesting and very informative. The guide we had was great and clearly really enjoyed giving the tour. The cost was super reasonable at €3.50.

The windmill is open to tours in the afternoons only during the week and all day weekends, but closed Tuesdays. The tour only cost 3.50 euro and lasted about 50 mins so fantastic value. The guide was very informative and it was really interesting learning and seeing how the windmill worked. There are a number of ladders to climb inside... More

We really enjoyed the tour and the guide was very knowledgeable. Lots of steep stairs to climb though but my 70 year old mother was able to do it.

This is a short visit, but offers a guided tour at a reasonable price which provides interesting info on a working wind mill. I recommend it mostly because of its location on the canal with a nearby restaurant that has outdoor seating. We visited Haarlem from Amsterdam, and overall it is a quaint, smaller, more relaxed version of Amsterdam, and... More

We were greeted by two people who do the tours here. As one guide originally came from UK he took us on the tour. He was friendly and freely gave his knowledge of the history of this lovely windmill. We saw beautiful models that showed how windmills work. We also saw where and how the grain is ground into flour... More

This windmill is a marvel to tour around and the guide was v knowledgeable talking about the history and change of use in past times. Technically very interesting and a marvellous view of Haarlem from the top. If you're lucky you can see it working but even if not it is well worth a trip. Prob takes about an hour... More

We unfortunately visited on Tuesday and they were closed. We were very disappointed as this needs to be made more clear on their Trip Advisor page
