A Beautiful and quiet place. We enjoy walking near the authentic duch houses, eat cheese toast and see a demonstration of making the wooden shoes. A short trip by train from Amsterdam central station.

The place is breath taking, but we were very unlucky by visiting it in December, winter time. It was very foggy to the extent that we couldn't see a single windmill !! Please do not waste such a great trip by going on winter time
