Zandvoort is a lovely town, within half an hour of Amsterdam. Easy to spend the day here walking around the beach or through the dunes. Highly recommend biking here from Haarlem via the dunes.

You should not expect the experience you get somewhere in Italy, Spain, etc. However it's very nice here. Very long beach line, a lot of playgrounds for kids, places to eat and relax. Neverstopping wind creates great conditions for surfing and other related activities.

Attended Old Timers as my partners club were racing (old timers being old cars not old people!). Great circuit, great view of the track, reasonable entry prices and if you're into cars or bikes, well worth a visit
