Sacred Art and Artefacts of the Roman Catholic Church.

This museum has a very large collection of art related to worship and the catholic church. On weekdays it is also possible to visit the cathedral next door.

Charming building, great central location, fun expo's for kids too. Great for a rainy day, or, if you really love art, great for a beach day too :-)

Such a peaceful place. I had a lovely time hanging around there with some friends. As many other buildings in the city, it has lovely gardens with some fountains. Also great for pictures.

This is a lovely museum of religious art with everything well displayed. There are some absolutely beautiful pieces of gold work and many fine paintings. I had a useful audio guide in English. Make sure that you allow yourself a couple of hours so as not to feel rushed.

It was due to a conference, that i have learned about it. But... it was worth it. High class art in a beautiful building. Mainly aimed to those who has a religious and heritage interest. Recommended Shahar

This is a remarkable collection, especially the earliest works that in many cases were fortunate to survive the Protestant Reformation and the destruction of religious objects that often came with it. The displays are well-showcased, albeit in what sometimes appeared to be a bit out of sequence as one walks through, but that is a minor drawback. My chief complaint... More

The temporary exhibition was being changed during my visit, so I only saw the permanent collection. However, it was worth it. The museum's collection is quite gorgeous, particularly the treasure chamber. The collection also takes you through the religious history of the Netherlands, which I found intriguing. A free audio guide is provided.

This museum focuses on the history of the church in the city with arts and artifacts. Its gold collection is marvelous and one of the best in the world. Its collection of old painting large

This a not a place to hurry round, so plan your visit and allow plenty of time and don't turn up like we did 45 mins before closing time. There is a lot to see and we will go back next time.

A bad experience at the end. It was near closing time, I was all alone in a cloister, and the door that the audio commentary told me to go through was locked. For a couple of minutes I thought that I was locked up for the night in the museum and wondered what the emergency phone number was! However, I... More
