What a total waste of time. The collection is very small and hardly interesting. We really had expected to see and learn at least a little more about bauhaus. We had to pay €2 per person on top of the standard admission (we used our Museum Jaarkaart), but couldn't understand what we paid for. It felt like a rip-off and... More

A museum in such a beautiful building you would want to be able to work or live in. Situated in the museum quarter of Rotterdam. Nice Bauhaus exhibition together with a.o. te world famous Van Nelle factory. Interesting movie of the realisation of this Van Nelle factory in the basement of the museum.

Another hidden gem. We passed by and popped in. The architecture is wonderful. Wished I could live in a house like that! If only. The museum shows (some) of the work of Henk Chabot. Paintings and sculptures. I liked!

When we visited the Chabot Museum, there was an exhibition by and over Armando, the Dutch painter. Lots of paintings by this artist and also pictures of him from famous photographers and a short film about his life. For architecture lovers: the building is worth visiting! Good for a one hour visit. Nice staff.

Discovered the artist Henk Chabot, powerful visionary painter ... who echoes the great Dutch tradition of quietly impressive paintings. House similar to the Sonnenveld House from outside...sadly most of original features no longer there. Yet its history is recognised and celebrated.

Great architecture of the building, nice people to show you around. The paintings of Chabot, well that personal taste ofcourse but all in all this museum is a must see in Rotterdam.
