Wonderful new piece of art! Amazing mural and a lot of food stalls inside this brand new architectural gem. Number 1 must-see in Rotterdam! It surpassed my imagination and expectations! Go and see it yourself, impossible to catch the atmosphere on pictures.

This building is a gimmick, nothing more than that. If you want to be surrounded by wannabe hipsters and white middle class citizens that live their dream life in an overpriced terraced house in the suburbs, this is your place to be. Not only will...More

We visited the markthall in a Saturday morning. The building was amazing, full of colors. There are plenty of choices to eat or buy products, food from different countries and cultures. We chose a greek restaurant and enjoyed souvlaki €9,5.

I love the architecture and all the delicious food you can buy. Take away, right away or as a souvenir, anything is possible. The glass panels are extraordinary and awesome.

This building (2014) is really something one has to see and experience oneself. Describing it as a covered market hall would not give it justice as the way the market is combined with housing is unique! The apartments are draped over the daily market in...More

The unique architecture of the building, festive atmosphere and a gamut of eateries earns this place a review. Was not expecting the diversity of cuisine, spice shops, etc. the place had to offer. Would recommend the stalls selling nuts and dried fruits - we bought...More

There's something for everyone here from restaurant dining to just picking up a snack. The fresh fruit and vegetables are very tempting.

Fascinating building! The architecture is just amazing, had me staring at it for quite a while. Food wise it didn’t have much that I would enjoy even though the offer is quite diverse. A must-see.

You can experience the traditional market culture in a very modern and fancy location. Good variation of shops. Enough places to have budget friendly food but there are also fancy restaurants such as jamie’s italian. It was too crowded though. That is why I don’t...More

Rotterdam is different then other cities in Holland. Rotterdam is modern and has amazing architecture. A boat trip through the harbour is interesting. The markthallen are worth a visit as well.
