Having seen the tower castle from our taxi to the hotel, we had to visit. The small remains of the moat had frogs to welcome us, and then it was climbing stairs to different exhibitions and lovely views from the top. There was a school party there and the kids loved the range of exhibits, as did we oldies. Displays... More

The one thing that I was gutted about here was that all of the displays are only in French and Dutch, so as an English speaker I was at quite a disadvantage to actually learn anything. I can't tell you the first thing about the role the Parc de Porte de Hal played, but I just know it's a fab... More

This is a historical monument. It acted as an entry gate to the city of Brussels, there was a moat and one had to pass through this gate to enter the city. It is a solid building about 5 storeyes high and houses a beautiful museum depicting several important aspects of artillery and other war related attachments. Later on this... More

Its a park with a old building like an old fort. Its nice mostly if you're walking around but nothing special. It has metro station and in the middle of Midi and Louise str.
