To learn about European institutions

If you are interested in politics and how the European system works, this is a place you must visit. A little history of Europe as well.

Definitely a must see when in Brussels as Brussels is the capital of the EU , it's s very modern building unlike the 1600 architecture of the grand place.when you see it on a map it looks ages out when it actually isn't in fact it's probably less than a ten minute walk

This is the kind of place that might be really tedious -- but it wasn't. There's a lot of reading and some cutesy "outreach" exhibits, but in the end I thought it was informational and helpful -- did you know the EU started as the European Steel and Coal Community? It was neat to see people from all over Europen... More

The Parlamentarium provides a well-executed lesson in history and government that should hold the interest of visitors from teens to seniors. The individual audio/text guides worked well. They are activated for the various displays by holding them in proximity to clearly identified contacts. Models early in the tour show the physical sites of the European Union governing institutions. A series... More

I really enjoyed this museum, theres free lockers and an audio guide so you can wander around leisurely. I could have probably spent half the day there and it is all for free! It was interesting and eye-opening, as we are really not educated enough about the EU, and this museum finally put the pieces together. The information was a... More

We made the hike up to the Parlamentarium from the Grand Place and we were not disappointed. The EU complex is huge and this museum/visitor center really brought it together. The whole museum is free and incredibly interactive. Highly recommend for families. We could've spent hours there but only had 45 minutes.

The Parlamentarium is a good introduction to EU and well worth a visit if you are in the area. The free of charge audiotour provides more facts than you are likely to need.

Really really worth while. I learnt a lot of things and the interactive media/audio guides you are given at the start are an excellent way to keep engaged the whole way through. There are loads of interactive gizmos and toys to play with that are informative but equally entertaining! Although as an anti-brexit Englishman it made me angry going round... More
