Even if you do not know any Belgian comics, it is fun to go on the trail of these painted murals. It feels like a treasure hunt and takes you to through the historic center as well as off the beaten path. Most hotels and the tourist office will offer you a map signaling where each mural can be found.... More

Brussels is the capital of comics, which results in wall paintings (murals), statues of cartoon characters, shops and a museum. So if you want to do something different and fun, take the comic cartoon walk. A map from the tourist office will help you to find the different walls in the city center. Or use the app Visitbrussels on your... More

We paid 10euros each to visit this and we both did not think it was worth it. It's very small and unless you are a particular fan on brussels comics (or the Smurfs orTinTin ) then you won't know any of the other comics or will you really care for the history of them. This place in my eyes is... More

This is an off the beaten path museum/exhibition because even though in the middle of Brussels, it is on a small street with little traffic and very little pedestrian passage. Just like the Museum of Instruments (don't miss that one), this is an old mid 1800s building, with character. I believe it used to be a popular store at one... More

I enjoyed this exhibition. There isn't much in English unfortunately but it's still an interesting insight into the history of comics. I took my time and got out of there in an hour, as such I feel the admission of 8 euro is a little steep, that's only 2 beers worth I guess...

A museum that fulfills all comic book aficionado's dreams. Multilevel building that covers comic history, retrospective of artists, an interesting small exhibit of the building itself, a coffee shop, and the best part for me was it's gift shop, where I splurged!

Painted walls dedicated to heroes of Belgian comic strips (well, you might not know them!) will guide you trough an original discovery of Brussels and its mutiple aspects. To be combined with the Comic Strip Museum located in ancien Art Nouveau "grand magasin".
