The museum is located in the Parc du Cinquantenaire, easily accessible by metro or train (walking distance from Schuman Station). You have the choice to see exhibitions and/ or the permanent collection. The permanent collection is small in number of items but quite rich and...More

In terms of a collection, it's not too shabby. It has a bit of everything for its size. My favorite part was the European collection. I have not seen such exquisite church artifacts. Loved the Orthodox icons. It's a small collection but nice nonetheless. They...More

A combi ticket for the 3 museums inside the park is available for 15 € and is valid for 3 months. Tickets for the Horta-Lambeaux pavilion are also for sale over here. This museum is very quiet and you have the collection almost for yourself,...More

This museum has a bit of everything. I especially liked the jewelry, ceramics, and the merovingan items. This might have the best museum gift shop I have ever seen.

This museum is an odd mix of local interest (eg flour sacks from US WWI relief) and quirky but top notch exhibits. For some reason the pre-Columbian collection is superb - as good or better than the New York Metropolitan's. Who knew?
