The English tour was led by a local guy with great Knowledge of brewing and it's place in Belgian history. It lasts about an hour and you get 2 samples of lambic beer afterwards. Its an acquired taste but the background story gives you an...More

I was there for a recent event with Hill Farmstead Brewery. The event was amazing and being able to tour the museum was fantastic. The beer is world class. I wish they would sell more options on the bottles rather than the standard core beers....More

Definitely for the crowd who know at least a bit about beer. For the zymurgists and amateur brewers, it's a wonderland. All the stuff you don't get to see at the big breweries is on full display, and you can even see the coolship and...More

About 20 mins walk from Grand Place and located just outside the inner ring road. Not the same as other breweries and some key differences in how they brew so well worth a visit. Tour itself and the guide were very good - kept it...More

This was one of the highlights of our trip. The beer was absolutely delicious and it was an incredible experience to see the old world brewing equipment and tour the brewery. We made friends with some people from our home state that were there and...More

We visit breweries regularly in our travels, but Cantillon stood out with its unique approach. We saw the lambic brewing process as it should be--without all the stainless steel contraptions. The self-guided tour meant that we didn't feel rushed at any point and the samples...More

Interesting to see the beer making process as it has been for thousands of years. The resulting beer is... unique! Worth bearing in mind: - The walk to the brewery from the Grand Place is very do-able but takes you through a not-so-nice part of...More

Only a 15-minute walk from Brussels Midi station, this is a must-do visit for any lover of Belgian beer. The Cantillon Brewery is a rare surviving example of a family-owned lambic brewery. 7 Euros buys you an excellent guidebook (in your choice of languages), an...More

I’ve been on brewery tours before looking at stainless steel vats creating mass produced lagers but this is something else. The brewery is pretty much a working museum with all the classic machinery still being used. You can really get up close with all the...More

We walked - It is a bit off the beaten path. You could Uber or taxi though. If i remember correctly, there is a hop on hop off stop fairly near the brewery. Definitely worth the effort!
