Whenever i am in Brussels i stay at an Hotel across the Street from here. The whole compound is a good place to visit, see and tour; imposing building and good architecture On Mondays to Fridays this is a busy area and not good for sightseeing. Much better on the weekend when the Eurocrats travel home and the whole compound... More

The EU quarter hosts all the main EU Institutions : the European Commission, the EU parliament, the EU council, Committee of the Regions etc... Monday to Friday afternoon it is a busy area with tens of thousands of Eurocrats working and thousands of visitors. Aside from the modern EU buildings, the place Schuman and the place Luxembourg , there's little... More

This one is easy to review because we stay here now. But if you are in Brussels on a visit we suggest you come and stay here. Reasons? Well, first, you have a budget hotel (Aloft) and a luxury hotel (Sofitel) so you can choose. The Parc Cinquantinaire with its fabulous museums is about a ten minute walk, the Parc... More

The EU quarter has some very large imposing buildings like the Berlaymont, seat of the European Commission. It is worth seeing if you are interested in either architecture or European history.

It's very modern and ordinary - some buildings are better than others but generally it's just a large office complex

Huge and modern buildings. Very different architecture from rest of the city. Worth a visit in this area.

Upon seeing this building from the outside I was a little awestruck at how large it was and how important it is. It sits at the center of the European Union. It didn't really click in my head that there was a central point where all of the EU is operated from until I saw it. If you can you... More

I visited the Quarter last week and I think it's quite interesting for an European to come here an learn more about the EU. Entry is free, but you have to tell fot your coming two months before you visit it. The buildings are modern (some look like shopping centres), the restaurant in the parliament offers very delicious meals at... More

This place it's so important as boring, personally I do not really like this kind of architectural style, every building looks the same, only offices and some other important stuff. During my visit there was an important meeting and the entire area was under surveillance and was strictly impossible to get close, so I could just watch the buildind for... More

The place is huge. Very interesting and I think it was even free entry. Go walk around, see the beginning of EU.
