Beautiful old market square in the Salon

Beautiful old market square in the Salon. The antique market is a bit odd and parking at the square is a disaster, but the terraces and restaurant are great!

Worth the 10/15 minute walk from the busy Grand Place this little square has a completely relaxed atmosphere. We went into every chocolate shop and bought just 3 chocolates from each so we could have our own chocolate shop tour. Prices ranged from 1.60€ to 4.20€.

Less crowded than the grand place, but a beautiful spot with some nice chocolate shops and restaurants. Worth the walk or quick metro trip.

Beautiful square with nice antique shops, lots of fine chocolate shops, bars, cafes and restaurants and an antique open market every Sunday.

Place du Grand Sablon is one of my favourite places in Brussels and also a place where I would love to live if I ever was to move back to Brussels. It is high end quality with small brand shops and delicious chocolate shops but is also the place where you find second hand shops and cafes that hardly closes.... More

Close to the city center, shops and stores. This hotel is spacious like a apartment but with the amenities of a nice hotel. Staff was friendly, breakfast was great. There is plenty of space for a group to travel together.

Visiting Brussels you definitely have to vist the Grand Salon which breathes the typical Belgian atmosphere. Every time l am going to Brussels one of my favorite stops is this square.
