The Brussels Air Museum is a fantastic experience with very cheap admission and a large collection. This is not something you see often where you can get so close to the planes and sit in a fighter-jet. Incredible collection with very cheap admission. All sorts of classic aircraft including Caravelles, DC-3s, fighter-jets, Boeing 707s, aircraft parts, and so much more!... More

Found by accident and because there was a music festival on free entry some great exhibits worth a few hours visit and just across from the automobile museum. Great park and War memorial.

It was one of those days cold and wet and trying to find something to do, when l came across this amazing place! Apart from the fantastic flying machines on show, this place also offered so much more to do! There was also a war museum here, that was very interesting and l would highly recommend a visit here!

We visited the museum after going to the Autorama motor museum nearby. Admission was free the Sunday we visited in November. This museum is much larger than we had expected (there's a Caravelle airliner up in ceiling) and the collection covers both military and civil aircraft (fixed wing and helicopters) from the beginnings of flight up to the present day.... This museum is well worth a visit for the 14-18 First World War exhibition and the view over Brussels. However finding those two things in the museum is a nightmare! They are renovating at the moment and have not bothered to put up any decent directions inside the museum and it is badly laid out for flow. When you enter... More

Brussels Air Museum is a free entrance museum, exhibiting many interesting planes and helicopters. There are so many planes, that the huge open-space seems not enough for a good experience. During my visit it was a flea market, and this decreased the quality of the experience. If you are in the area, you should visit it.

This is me peeking in the window. I got there after they closed. Grrr! Free entrance gets you in to see tanks and planes of the Royal Belgian Army. Thank goodness there's lots of windows. There is a lot to see in there. Don't miss out.

Love this museum, esp. All the old military tanks and airplanes during wartime. Kids loved it too. Glad we visited this place, also free entrance.
