The church itself with the fine colourful towers and a history that goes back to the 11th century is definitely worth a visit. But also remember to see the sculpture outside - of the holy men versus the people. I’m not sure what the big...More

I’d recommend any one who passes through Liège to stop and go see this church and its famous fonds baptismaux. They have volunteers who will help you appreciate the extraordinary aspects of an piece otherwise reserved to specialists. 3 Michelin stars. Don’t be shy.

One of the most impressive roman church of he city. Liège is very rich. You must have a look on this city whom was capital of a state before 1791.

This church stands out because of its colourful facade and the vessel for baptizing. Small entrance fee and they close for lunch, so plan your visit.

I first visited St-Barthelemy 44 years ago. It was then a fascinating and historical building, but was gray and crumbling. It has been marvelously restored and is worth the visit and the minimal price of entry. The baptismal font on the backs of twelve oxen...More

Nice church but the reason to visit is for the ancient baptismal font. It is quite an interesting piece.

This church is nicely restored and it is certainly worth visiting even if you have to pay 4 Euros to see the baptismal font. The replica in the treasury of the cathedral does not come close to the original.
