I visited the chocolaterie "Cedric Den Hoorebeke" while I was in Ghent. The chocolates were delicious, though a little more expensive than other shops I've been to and not too much variety (still worth it I think). However, the lady working was not the friendliest....More

We tried other chocolate on our trip to Belgium, but this was the absolute best! We visited this place two times, and both times we had the best experience. Those who helped us at the counter were extremely friendly, and the second time we were...More

I really appreciated the quality of the chocolates. The variety of flavours was also pretty good. It's not the cheapest place, but you know what cheap gets you - this, on the other hand, is high quality stuff. There is a glass part of the...More

Dropped in here on flying visit. Hot chocolate is excellent. Great selection of chocolates, lovely staff. Small, friendly artisan business. Really good. Not cheap! But good chocolate never is.

Yes, the chocolate is amazing and it's the 4.8 star review on Google that had me seek out this establishment. I arrived early afternoon to purchase my souvenir gifts to take home with me and there were 2 ladies working. I waited my turn and...More

Some of the best chocolate I've had in Europe yet. All the chocolate appears to be made right on site. Lots of variety, but without anything too overwhelming. Prices are high but not outrageous. Shop itself is rather nice. Definitely worth a stop if you...More

Although I bought 60+ euro worth of chocolates from this store and the store owned by his son Cedric, it’s still not enough. Never enough ;-) Bought the truffles, chocolate dipped orange slices, hazelnut-milk chocolate, cherry-cordial bonbons, almond nougatine covered in chocolate, and much more....More
