Sint-Donatuspark is a central park in Leuven connecting several central points - Naamsestraat, the central library, Pangea, Alma... It closes around 10 o'clock in the evening so beware if you had planned to take a shortcut through there. I always found it a bit sparse and I like the Kruidtuin better. But it's perfect if you want to hang with... More

It is a park I love and maybe one of my favorite places in Leuven. Nice to relax, have a picnic, sit with the coffee or just lie down and do nothing else.

What can you say about the Sint-Donatuspark. It's the "central park" of Leuven. You walk through it in less then 5 minutes. There is not much to see there: a grotto with a small waterfall and they did renovate the medieval city wall tower which you can still see in the parc. But you can't access it. In summer people... A lovely place in the city to walk, run, or just sit and think - especially when the weather is good.

Leuven’s city park Saint-Donatus is not an impressive green area, it’s a small park of less than 6 acres, conceived in the 19th century as a romantic landscape park with ponds. It will take you less than half an hour to walk through to have a look at some historic features, none of which are must sees. Since 1957, the... More

Ideal for a walk, to relax and to enjoy nature in the city centre. Go and visit also the city wall remainings in the parc, they have been restorated recently.

Very relaxed place to lay in the grass with a drink and/or barbecue. Enough place, and quiet. Just what you need after a day of walking through the city.

This park is really nice to chill out, actually all year, but it's the nicest in spring or summer when there's a nice atmosphere of people of all ages relaxing there. During the year there's a lot of students chilling there because it's one of the only green places in Leuven, right in the centre. It's perfect for a picknick... More

As I work in the Maurits- Sabbel Library across from here I see many young folks basking in the sun or shade on the lawn. Once I was distracted by a juggler. It is a delightful place and does contain a few Roman ruins. But a wonderful place to walk. It is close to the Centraal Library.

For newcomers to town, Sint-Donatuspark is easy to find for a daily walk. The trails are well marked and it has plenty of users walking and running. Like a little in-town get away.
