A small park with a pond and historical feeling. Lots of small groups of students relaxing. A great atmosphere and perfect for a short walk. Near the city centre too.

It's a lovely place to walk around while in the city. It's probably more popular in the summer time.

Excellent little park in the middle of Leuven. Kids can freely run around in a safe environment. Clean. Added bonus in the summer is a beer/refreshments/icecream stalls and some tables and chairs - to have you favourite treat and relax.

This is where the locals come to chill out. Popular but still peaceful and calming. Weather permitting a good picnic place.

I walked through the park on a beautiful sunny summer's day. The historic buildings and the fields around them looked like an 18th century landscape painting. It's a lovely place for a gentle stroll.

A good place to go to chill out for a while with a good few sculptures and ruins on the grounds. Clean and quiet.

Nice and clean park
It has closing time and the people they are responsible to tell people to leave the park are really rude and unfriendly

I'm not sure why, but for some reason the Sint Donatus Park felt quite artificial to me, as if it were a bigger version of a very tacky miniature golf course. Like many things in Leuven, the park isn't huge, which means that it gets overcrowded quickly.

The park's autumn colours, which struck early this year, were beautiful, though (photographs attached).

How many days I've layed myself on the grass to blow off steam.
This park is located in the center of Leuven and though it might not be big, it has a certain charm that keeps pulling me back in! Also it's amazing to see the remains of the original walling around Leuven which dates back to the 12th century!

In the summer months (july/august) there are a lot of events that fill the park which are definitely worth checking out.

Or do you just want to rest after walking through Leuven all day? Be sure to stop right here. Enjoy the park, throw a frisbee, have a picknick!

This is a lovely park. When we entered we had two choices: Walk straight or walk to the right to higher grounds. We walked straight, as we saw several statues. We were walking under the trees on a wide path.

Then we saw a pond where a man was feeding the ducks. That was cool!

There was a fortified tower and a cave. However, I noticed above the cave, a pipe stood out. I can imagine that during the summer some water would fall from there, like a waterfall.

There was even a playground for kids to enjoy.

I enjoyed my trek in this park and I liked all the attractions inside the park. It's quite worthwhile to visit! And beautiful as well!
