I thought the tour was nice but nothing special.. it isn't super long, only about 30 mins. and you dont go very far. You do get some interesting history. It's not super expensive, so I would say if you have some extra time and like...More

I wasn't able to do a canal tour on my previous trip to Bruges, so I was keen to do one on my second very brief visit and I'm glad I did. You see a totally unique view of Bruges and hear a little more...More

I have been to Bruge about 5 times now and avoided the busy canal boat tour as it looked too touristy but as there was 5 adults and 2 kids on this trip and it was a lovely day we decided to do it. It...More

We had fantastic weather, which obviously helped, but the tour was great. The Captain was a real lad and his commentary both amazing and educational.

There are a lot of these in Bruges, but we found one where the staff liked the part! Just to the left and opposite the entrance to a popular bar called Beerwall, the "captain" and tour guide was dressed in full sailers gear rather than...More

Bruge is beautiful, and from a boat you really do see the lovely architecture from a different view point. The boats are a bit packed, but the cost is not too serious, and children really love it. If you are visiting Bruge this is a...More

Our captain was fantastic and had a lot of stories. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Was talking to us at the end as we had mentioned we were from Glasgow and he had been there a few times. Definitely a must do.

The captain for our tour was brilliant, good fun but also very knowledgable and even spoke to my Wife and myself about visiting our own city in Glasgow. To my regret I never got his name but he told a story of his Mum &...More

Spoilt the experience by having to wait over a hour - one boat came in and the captain went on a break so we waited for him to come back - worth doing for a different thing but check the waiting time

You can see the town of Bruges on foot, however it's not until you take a canal boat tour that you fully understand how trade happened 500 years ago in this part of Belgium. Space on the boats is very tight, and even though we...More

Sorry for delayed reply. There are at least 3 places to pay/catch a boat and the town is very small so hard to miss them!

They don't take prebookings as far as I know. It's a question of buying a ticket (cash only) and queuing. There are a number of pick up points around Bruges. Google Bootochten Brugge for more info.

No, there's no space on the boat for storage that I'm aware of. If you ask before you board, there may be a spot. You could always ask them on their website.
