A must-see for those lovers of Classic art for its Michelangelo "Madonna and Child". Can also view the relics (gold box) wherein lies remnants of Christ's blood brought back to Bruges during the Crusades according to legend.

The exhibit was relatively small, and there wasn't that much to see. Definitely not worth an admission price.

It is also an amazing place in Bruges. You can't go out without visiting here and Belfry of Bruges! Nice architecture!

It is very beautiful and quite a vision. Very solemn but as it should be. The architecture is exquisite. I could have spent the whole morning there in quiet peace.

It is the holy place in Brugge. There is blood of Jesus - brought by knights during crusaders from Jerusalem (holy land). It is a very quiet place suitable for meditations. No pictures are allowed inside.

There are many churches in Bruges. This is one of those that must be visited, for its artwork. It is almost a surprise tucked away in the corner of Burg Square.

A lovely historic church, worth a visit. It's free to enter the church and it is very beautiful inside.

Well worth a visit for anyone visiting Bruges. A short mass takes place several times throughout the day and afterwards you can view the relic. Lovely church if you are lighting a candle for someone

If you are into relics then this is the place for you. They claim to possess blood from Jesus himself, collected by Joseph of Arimathea. It is a dark but handsome place . . .but cannot compare with historic cathedrals in the major cities of...More

Hello, can anyone tell me if there is a specific day or time to see the Holy Blood? Their website doesn't give any information on it and I've read a lot of conflicting answers. Thanks!

I was just there last month and as my hotel was around the corner an early morning visit was great about 9am. Visit the relics room, small but very beautiful. If you have not chosen a hotel and need one. Grand Hotel... More

No. There was no fee. You can make a donation but there is no compulsion. The church is beautiful. Enjoy.
