The current museum is housed in the old infirmary and displays the eclectic collection accumulated by nuns down the centuries. The oldest pieces date back to the 14th century. Many miracles have been attributed to the white limestone statue of Our Lady of the Potterie in the baroque church. These are detailed in stained-glass windows, wall tapestries, and a miracle book. The 13th century statue is one of Bruges' oldest preserved statues.

When we entered the church, we had to pay a small fee to enter it. Our first visit here, was a large room with several paintings, a few sculptures and some elegant furniture. The paintings stood out. The Flemish in the past painted amazingly! All the paintings were related to the Bible. Many of these paintings were unknown. In another... More

On the outskirts of the regular tourist "inner-ring", this offers an hour's worth of interest or even more if captivated. The trail offers at first treasures and artifacts from its history, augmented by the guide-book offered according to language on entry and modest payment for entry. The history is in itself of interest. However, on finally reaching the end of... More

This museum consists of a chapel/church with a small treasury and museum proper. The church has some nice paintings and a glass coffin for St. Idesbald (though I believe the bones were recently shown to be somebody else's).

If you want to see one of the cities most interesing churches then a visit here is a must. It is a little walk out of the very centre but through a beautiful part of Brugge. Make sure to check the opening times when reading about it in your guide. There was hospital here so there is a small museum... More

Lovely small museum at the site of an old hospital (dating back to the 12century) caring for sick and elderly. There are various rooms showing off different historical artefacts linked to the hospital. There is wonderful church attached with a history of its very own...including many miracles!

Always felt a connection with this church, being from 'the potteries' I think its the name which drew me in. Very nice and peaceful and lovely to walk around.

We talked with the gentleman working here and he told us that even on the busiest days, this is not crowded. Come on people! If you walk up the canal from the Burg Square, at a slow pace, this might take 15 minutes (and it’s a great walk too). Once inside, you can really appreciate this 13th century building and... More

Slightly off the beaten track but definitely worth a visit. Stunning church with an amazing history and beautiful art works. Church is free but it's well worth paying for the museum too, it's also combined in the museum pass which is well worth €20 if you're there for a few days

A Great place to visit and highly recommend. We loved the architecture and the history. The place can be found on the walking tour and so look out for it.
